Radio Interference with RF Controllers

Modified on Fri, 2 Jun, 2023 at 3:56 PM

Q: We have several RGBW wall mounts fitted in our room but when we use our site radios, we receive interference with the panel, in that our LED lights will randomly change anytime a radio is used for talking. Is there any solution to this?

A: it is quite common for LED controllers to emit RFI (radio-frequency interference) signals, which interfere with any nearby components. The RGBW-1Z-PWM operates with PWM technology and the likelihood is that the radios themselves are causing the conflict. Unfortunately, there is little that can be done to remedy this situation, short of keeping the devices apart or turning of the RF device. We do not have devices that would be able to withstand RF interference at the moment.
